Salim Nizam, born in 1970 in Gönen, still lives in Gönen, where he spent his childhood and early youth, where he branched out and took root. The tree standing on its bud in Gönen sings the song of the land where it was born, grown and lived, and a time that has left us behind. In his stories, which he diversified by focusing on Gönen, he listens to the sad and tragic stories of people and people. Sadness is one of the important veins that nurtures and nurtures the stories of Salim Nizam, as expressed in the verses of Hilmi Yavuz: “Sadness is the most worthy of us / perhaps the most we understand”.
While the stories in the book started in the 1970s and diversified hundreds of years back, the connection between them, their intertwining, whispering to the reader that even after hundreds of years, human fate is the same in this land.
